Thanks to a USDA Farmers Market Promotional Grant awarded in 2019, we'll be releasing a series of videos highlighting each of our vendors, over the coming year. Sawdust Studios is a 24/7 woodworking “gym” serving beginners and professionals alike. Owner Cruz Chavez cuts his own wood for the products and brings them full circle to his customers at Columbia Farmers Market.

Pasta La Fata

Starting out doing pop-ups, Shelly La Fata of Pasta La Fata discovered her toasted ravioli sold best and started selling it at Columbia Farmers Market. Now, her dream has come full circle, as she shares her Italian heritage with a wide array of handmade from scratch cuisines and returns much of the money to local farmers.

The Sage Garden

After spending years experimenting with growing a variety of vegetables, Brandt & Erica Parker, of The Sage Garden , figured out their niche — growing and selling lettuce, year-round in Missouri. They believe food is medicine, and it works better when it is produced in a sustainable, natural way.

ElderBlossom View

Behind the scenes, ElderBlossom View is a bustling elderberry farm and licensed winery. Whether harvesting flowers and berries from towering shrubs by the wagon full or bottling elderberry products after harvest, everything is done sustainably and by hand.

Raw Roots Turmeric

“From sprout to mouth” Ranjana Hans of Raw Roots Turmeric does it all. Raw Roots Turmeric focuses on Ayurvedic products that she grows and then turns into value-added food items.

Sunny Acres Farm

“People are really hungry for fresh, local produce…that’s the beauty of when you buy from somebody at the farmers market.” Leanne Spurling, of Sunny Acres Farm, hits the nail on the head on why shopping at CFM is so special.

Fiddle & Stone Bread Company

Magic happens with Chris Foley, of Fiddle & Stone Bread Co. mixes flour, salt, water, and fire! Chris and his bread have become a staple at CFM, selling since 2019. Chris utilizes locally grown grains, for his lineup of naturally leavened, wood-fired bread.

The Salad Garden

Dan Kuebler of The Salad Garden, LLC has been selling at CFM since 1990. Over the years his business has evolved, but one thing has been constant, his presence Saturday mornings!

Happy Hollow Farm

Liz Graznak of Happy Hollow Farm explains how “…the direct connection between the farmer and the consumer…” helped direct her path towards USDA Certified Organic farming.
