WIC-FMNP & SFMNP Vouchers

Make your dollars go farther at Columbia Farmers Market!

If you are a senior or WIC recipient receiving SFMNP or WIC-FMNP vouchers, you can spend your vouchers on fresh, local food at CFM.  If you live in Boone County, you can also take advantage of our matching programs.

WIC-Farmers market nutrition program

What?

  • WIC-FMNP stands for WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program
  • Funded through the Missouri Department of Agriculture, WIC-FMNP provides four benefit vouchers ($5 each), totaling $20 annually, per qualifying individual
  • Vouchers can be spent on eligible foods (fruits, vegetables, & herbs) at Columbia Farmers Market
  • Vouchers will be dispensed through September 30th and can be redeemed at CFM through October 31st

HOW?

  • If you are a Boone County resident, bring your vouchers and WIC card to The Oasis Booth at Columbia Farmers Market, located just inside the south entrance to the market
  • Fill out a brief enrollment form for the Access to Healthy Food (AHF) Program to receive a one-time match for your vouchers (i.e., you will receive $20 in tokens per booklet of $20 vouchers you present)
  • You will receive an AHF Program card so you can come back and utilize the matching benefits provided through the program at every market. Find out more about how the AHF Program works here
  • Spend your vouchers and tokens with our vendors. Non-Boone County residents may still spend their vouchers with CFM vendors but cannot receive the one-time match through the AHF program
  • Vendors who accept the vouchers will have a sign displayed, which contains the "Missouri Grown" logo
