Stir Fried Shiitakes

Mushrooms contain Niacin and Riboflavin, two important B-vitamins that act as co-enzymes for many biochemical reactions in the body. This stir fry side has such great flavor that it might just become the main dish! Easy and quick to make during the week or weekend.

Ingredients

 

  • 2 cups shiitake mushrooms
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or liquid aminos

instructions

  1. Thinly slice mushrooms and dice garlic.
  2. Heat a cast iron with high heat and oil.
  3. Once oil is hot, add mushrooms first and cook for 1 minute. Let sit and stir once.
  4. Add in soy sauce or liquid aminos and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes, let sit and stir occasionally.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
