Cucumbers are a refreshing treat in the hot waves of summer! Cucumbers promote hydration and include many vitamins and minerals that are beneficial for us. Try this recipe for a summer snack or on top of your favorite burger!
7-10 small pickling cucumbers
4-6 cloves of garlic
1-2 serrano peppers, sliced in half
2 cups of water
1 cup of white vinegar
7-10 peppercorn kernels
1 teaspoon sugar
1 bunch of fresh dill
In a small pot bring water and vinegar to a boil.
Reduce heat once boiling, add in salt and sugar. Stir slowly until sugar and salt are dissolved.
In a mason jar combine sliced cucumbers, garlic, dill, peppercorns and serrano peppers.
Pour liquid mixture over ingredients, seal the mason jar with a lid and refrigerate.
