Spiced Turmeric Milk

Turmeric is a golden-orange spice known for adding color, flavor and nutrients to food. Add turmeric to pancakes, noodles, hummus and more! Try this easy turmeric drink morning, noon or night to pack in some antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk (regular, oat, almond, etc.)
  • 1 turmeric root
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp chia seeds
  • Dried rose pedals

instructions

  1. Pour milk into your favorite glass.
  2. Grade fresh turmeric root over the glass, about 1/4 tsp.
  3. Stir in cinnamon, chia seeds and dried rose pedals.
  4. Enjoy warm or cold!
