Sautéed Shiitakes with Soy Sauce, Maple Syrup, and Rice Vinegar

This simple sautéed shiitake recipe comes from our friends at BLH Farm! With equal parts oil, soy sauce, maple syrup and rice vinegar, this side dish has such great flavor that it might just become the main dish!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shiitake mushrooms
  • ½ tablespoon oil
  • ½ tablespoon soy sauce or liquid aminos
  • ½ tablespoon maple syrup
  • ½ tablespoon rice vinegar

instructions

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Slice shiitakes thin and add to pan with oil once hot. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add soy sauce, maple syrup, and rice vinegar and stir. Serve hot and enjoy!
