Persimmons are a special seasonal fruit that are beautiful in color and fun to eat! Manganese, vitamin C and A reside in this wonderful fruit that help our cells to function properly and bring fun to our taste buds.

Ingredients

  • Favorite bread toasted
  • Goat cheese or cream cheese
  • Persimmons, sliced

Optional additions:

  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Balsamic reduction
  • Mint
  • Honey

instructions

  1. Toast your bread then spread cheese to all edges.
  2. Place your persimmons on top and other optional additions if you wish.
  3. Take a bite and enjoy!
