Ben Paulsmeyer, of Boys from Chamois, shared his grandmother’s instructions for freezing fresh corn.  Ben and his brothers can be found at CFM during the summer months with fresh sweet corn, watermelons and cantaloupes.

Grandma Eileen's Easy Frozen Corn

  • 16 cups of fresh corn kernels
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons heaping salt

Instructions
  1. Combine ingredients in a large pan. Bring to a boil and boil lightly for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Place in containers and freeze until ready to use.
