Deemed an essential resource CFM has remained open throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Now more than ever, we see the importance of our local food systems through the work our farmers are doing to keep us nourished and healthy.  Reliable access to food is a human right and it is critical that our food supply chain maintain – and even be prepared to expand  – operations throughout this pandemic. We believe that CFM plays an integral part in our local food system and economy.

Customer Safety Recommendations

With city ordinances now expired, CDC updates, as more people become vaccinated in our community and low positive case numbers continue, CFM will begin to reintroduce activities that have been on hold.  Starting Saturday, June 5th the following activities will start to resume:

  • Live music
  • Public seating areas
  • Kids activities
  • On-site food consumption will be allowed to resume Saturday, May 15.

We encourage all visiting CFM to take these simple steps to help keep our market safe:

  • If you are sick, please stay home and ask a friend or family member to pick things up for you at CFM instead.
  • We recommend vendors, customers, and staff to wear masks, but one is no longer required to, per the removal of the City of Columbia's Ordinances.
  • Please practice socially spacing by keeping a distance of 6+ feet from other customers and vendors.
