Second Annual Market Gala: Sunday, September 30, 2012
Parkade Center, 601 W. Business Loop 70 5:30pm
A fabulous all local foods dinner will be served buffet style. Dinner includes Missouri Legacy Beef brisket, seasonal vegetables, artisan breads, desserts and more.

10 minute hands-on demonstrations will include “Edible Wild Flowers & Plants,” “Drying Vegetables for Soup Mixes,” “Rolling Out Pie Dough.” These are just a sampling of local food activities planned for the evening.

Tickets are $25 each for 11 yrs old to adults; children 4 yrs old to 10 yrs old are $12.50; children under 3 yrs old are free.
Tickets can be purchased at the Columbia Farmers Market.

The first annual Market Gala was held October 2011. Mike Odette, from Sycamore Restaurant prepared a fabulous meal of all local foods from the Columbia Farmers’ Market.  Jerry Brunetti, keynote speaker, gave an informative presentation on the relationship between healthy soils and truly nutritious foods.
